November: Month in Review

Weekend visit to the North Shore.  I love how small they look, peering out into the vast ocean ahead...

Thanksgiving dinner.  We broke tradition this year and went out to eat at the Sheraton Waikiki.  I think he enjoyed it - I already mentioned he's a clown, right?

 

About this time last year, I bought Bou this dress, which she has absolutely loved.  This year we went back to the same little store in Honolulu, and they had the hat in the same pattern.  She has already worn this ensemble to church 3 times (in a row!).  Last Sunday I finally had to tell her she needed to pick a different dress for church, to which she replied "Okay, but can I go back to wearing this dress next week?"

Concentration

I love to watch my children's facial expressions when they are lost in playtime, or in my daughter's case, art time!  She takes her crafts very seriously...

And the boy - I just love the way he sticks his tongue out when he's concentrating.  It's something he's done since he was tiny.

The First Post!

I've had this blog address for ahwile, but have chosen to ignore it, devoting all of my attention to my other site Oahu Daily Photo instead!  I have some ideas about what I want to do with this one, so here goes:  first post is a Top 5 Quarterly Link-Up in which participants post their favorite five photos of kids / pets from the past three months.  Check out other favorites at Click It Up a Notch.
